The other day, my brother and I were sitting around and discussing the seminal movies of our teenage years. We used to love to watch the cheesiest movies together. So tonight we made Velveeta cheesedip and had Steve Martin movie night. Turns out that Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Planes, Trains and Automobiles still totally rock.

Next time we're doing John Candy. Uncle Buck, for sure! And Cool Runnings.

The thematic possiblities are endless. Home Alone night. Wayne's World night. Father of the Bride night, which would be Steve Martin Night 2. (Yes, I know about the original fabulous version, but we're children of the 90s.) Terminator night. Not to mention the junk food possibilities. The mind boggles.
