My aspiring medievalist friend Michelle is delivering her very first conference paper today. It's all about the Fair Unknown archetype in Malory. She's also graduating in about a month, having finished her BA over the past three years while working full time and raising two smallish children.
She totally rocks, and I'm very nearly proud of her (as she and I are wont to say.)

I teared over that! You know first-hand about my experience returning to school because you were in my first class back after the 5-year hiatus! Really, I feel honored to be added here and can't thank you enough for your good wishes b/c I added them up from everyone and drew fuel on that quiet drive today.... and thanks again for that ream of paper you brought over yest in my crisis-mode. ;)
