GREENFIELD-SANDERS: Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson

In prog (15:25 CST): more after class.

UPDATE (20:23 CST): OK, so I've still only got the same partial post that I started out with. There's just too much else that must be done tonight. Here's what I wrote:

Someone told me the other day that Mister Boyfriend and I look alike. It's true that we're quite similar in some aspects, but I don't really see a strong physical resemblance. We're both sturdily constructed: tall, with broad shoulders. We both have long hair, although his is twice as long as mine. We both wear jeans a lot, and neither of us wears much makeup. And, of course, it goes without saying that we're both devastatingly attractive. But other than that, I just don't see it.

Of course, this post does absolutely nothing for those of you who have never seen either of us. (I had originally planned to follow this bit with commentary about couples who do look alike, and possibly pets and owners who look alike. And maybe something about lemurs. Or not.) However, I seem to have gained a following of local readers, which both pleases me and freaks me out. They will doubtless have opinions about our alleged look-alike-ness. The rest of you, go read about Steve's pants (or lack thereof) if you haven't already.

Comments

I have only this to contribute:

2. I am always struck when I see you how much taller you are which doesn't seem readily obvious for some unknown reason.

I can't help you. Except that I'm nearly twice his weight, David and I *do* look frighteningly alike. We have been asked if we were brother and sister, in fact.

Neither of us is devastatingly attractive, however, ir indeed attractive at all. You've got the edge on us there.

We do *not* resemble the Goth-kitties in the slightest. They *are* devastatingly attractive.

its very common to choose partners who look like the people we grew up with, its unlikely to be those people, and it is likely to be people you hung around with (culturally) when you where 5 or 6
