cemetery by the sea

West Scottish Coast, March 2000

These photos are from a small church somewhere on the west coast of Scotland. I can't remember the name of the town, but my best guess is that it lies somewhere between Oban and Glasgow.

The inlet is just beyond the church; you can see it just a bit on the sides.
There were also cows in the adjacent field, and a marsh beyond that.
The headstones in the cemetery were ancient by American standards, and when they broke off someone piled them against the wall.
