Did I mention that the car did in fact get fixed after the accident? It's actually in better shape than it's been in for years, because right after I bought it in 2000 someone whacked the bumper in a parking lot and I never got it fixed. Plus, it had little nicks in the hood (bonnet?) from rocks and bugs and whatnot. Now it has a brand-new bumper and headlight and a refinished hood and some other new stuff. (The other people only had $400 worth of damage. Go figure. But still, at least nobody was hurt.)

Back to the redheads? I ran across someone in blogville recently that had this thing for redheads and I have every good intention of returning and saying, you must go visit Krista's redhead exhibit, and then I forgot. I used "whatnot" in a blog entry this afternoon too. I never say "whatnot". I suppose it's as explanatory as "etc" which I use habitually without reservation.
