Has anyone else gotton this insidious comment spam that starts in your comments field and then magically replaces your *entire freaking entry* when you delete and rebuild?
I'm going to fix this when I get home to where my archives are, but for now I am just thoroughly pissed.

Are you using Safari? There was (maybe still is?) something in Safari that caused that problem for me a while ago. Try deleting and rebuilding in a different browser.

The other way round it (should the unavoidable baby mac situation arise again) is to delete the comment and then SAVE the entry, without rebuilding. Seems to do the trick in Safari.
