Coincidentally, I ran across the series Model vs. Photographer by Terry Donovan, in which the artist mimics his models' poses and places himself within the same gaze originally reserved for them. Interesting stuff from many viewpoints - semiotics, gender theory, picture theory ...

That's a nice easy gaze at a pregnant woman. I was easily 3x that large (and on my small frame). I think that was like 5 months for me with G. Shudder. I look like that guy on the right now.
