Oh! I love it. Perhaps I'll try to do something similar with intarsia whenever I learn that. But a sampler is so meek and unassuming; the subversive messages are all the more fabulous. Maybe I will have to learn needlepoint as well.

FWIW, my sister and I did a fair amount of counted crosstitch as children. It's remarkably easy, if a little on the tedious side with the more complex patterns. I love the chicks, bunnies, and Easter pastels on the Do Not F* with me pattern.

i was writing to make sure you knew of www.getcrafty.com, which has lots of fun subversive crafts, but when i went to the site to verify the url, i found that it was shut down earlier this month. it seems that www.supernaturale.com has overtaken it - but it looks like there are still lots of fun subversive crafts there.
