dilemma

History of Intellectual Property has become more and more interesting to me in the past year. Now it's time to think about just how interesting it is. There is a one-day conference at the University of Wisconsin Law School on November 13: Owning Knowledge: The History of Modern U.S. Intellectual Property Law. I don't know whether to go or not. It's at a sort-of-bad time of the semester, and I'd have to stay in a hotel one night. On the other hand I'd get to hear about things that fascinate me, I'd get to see a bit of Wisconsin, and I'd finally have an excuse to invite Dorothea to have a cup of coffee, which we've been threatening to do for awhile now.

Must contemplate.

The hell you'd stay in a hotel. You'd stay in my guest room and LIKE IT, you would!

:)

That was, despite its tone, a serious invitation. If you want to come, come; my guest room is at your service.

Really? And meet the goth-kitties? You're totally skewing my decision-making process.

Of course really, and of course goth-kitties.

And skewing the process was the point. :)
