next year's calendars
When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.-C.S. Lewis
I am therefore justified in my purchase of this. With stickers! And also this, which is entirely Mister Boyfriend's fault because he convinced me to watch the first season of Wonder Woman during dinnertimes this semester.

Wonder woman devotee in its Linda Carter spectacularity but I was so young, I'm sure I wouldn't know one from season from the next or even how many there were! I do remember when ... Helen (?) came on board as Wondergirl. I don't think I liked her.
It's a nice side effect and compensation for lots of gross stuff that I endure that my boys give me ample excuse to indulge in childish activities regularly. :)

Actually, Wonder Girl comes in for two episodes in the first season, at least one of which is a two-parter. And you may also not remember, but: Wonder Girl is played by a nascent (or possibly larval) Debra Winger. Much has been explained.

My younger brother might have made the front page of the Washington Post a few times for his criminal exploits, but my favorite story is about his partner in crime, who -- before he met my brother -- had been busted (and nolle prosequi'd, IIRC) for stealing Lynda Carter's jeep. I always wondered whether he might've found some bracelets in back. . . .
