are you kidding? give me twenties, even teens , and I would be ok, but single digits or lower . . .

Actually, I'm so not kidding, and very surprised about it. The teens and single digits produce result in malaise for me, and I just stay inside. But it turns out that once things dip below zero, I'm all about it. Haven't yet figured out quite why this is the case. The best I can do at the moment is to say the crispness of the air is so full of possibilities, even though I'm aware of how ridiculous that might sound.

Congrats! Who knew someone from Little Rock would turn out to be true blue Minnesotan!! I always dread this weather, but once it's here, it seems to bring out my stubborn side (not that it was ever that far out of sight). The crispness is marvelously invigorating.

Glad you are enjoying your experience although I confess to being completely baffled by it! Was just this morning telling B about your previous post about holing up during the zero below temp days. He will laugh when I update him.
Hope your holidays were relaxing. :)

God bless you, Krista, but I hate this freeze-your-face-off weather. Just too much.

Krista, you are a sick, sick puppy! ;) Glad that you and Mister Boyfriend had a wonderful Christmas. I had a little drama in the life and a trip to OKC.
