snow shower
Mister Boyfriend and I decided to rush up to campus this afternoon for the department photograph, so I threw on a clean shirt before we headed out the door. Then I proceeded to complain all the way there about the fact that I hadn't put on a sweater instead, or on top of everything else.
Just as we got to school, it started to snow. And it snowed all the way through the photograph. When we got back home it quit for a bit, but just a few minutes ago I looked out the window and noticed a mini-blizzard out there. The picnic table out back was already white.
Intellectually, I know this is Minnesota, where it’s not really unusual to see snow in late April. But still, there is some part at the core of me that really can’t fathom this.
Update: Now it’s stopped and is getting sunny. I’m so confused.

It's like Crazy Arkansas Weather, with a twist of lime.

Yuck! I was grumbling at having to put on a sweater and a jacket here in Missouri the past few days. I would have been complaining right along with you about the snow. Hopefully that sun you spoke of will be sufficient to melt it before it sticks and more hearty snowflakes show up to join the others.

We're experiencing the same thing here in UT; snow's expected later in the week.
