a festival of typos and quirks

From the grading:

  • from a report on land acquisition possibilities: “To investigate the possibility of the land accusation...”
  • “The university is located about 30 minuets from your parents...”
  • “Most importantly, I want you to realize how important it is...”
  • Minneapolis, Minnesota apparently can be creatively abbreviated as “Minnesapolis.”
And one committed by yours truly: Authorship in ANQUITY (as opposed to Antiquity). That one was proudly displayed on my annotated bibliography’s About page for about six hours until my professor pointed it out. That’s what you get when you obsessively proofread the body but not the header.

Update:

  • “The car’s caring capacity is a factor...” Because, you know, you need a car that will love you back.
  • “The research confirmates the findings.”

Further Update: (From Mister Husband’s grading): “At the seminar on gorilla marketing strategies...”

Comments

Minuets. Ha! That one's by far the best.
