So. Grades are posted. Seminar papers are submitted*. Student complaints seem to have subsided.

I believe I’ll go sleep for awhile now.

There aren’t many things I miss about my former institution, although there are many people I miss. But one of the great things about being there was the fact that classes usually ended somewhere around the 5th, and I could be finished and gone to New Orleans by the 10th. Up here, we go all the way up to the holiday and grades are due around the 28th. Bah. This is, of course, the trade-off for a long summer that doesn’t end until after Labor Day.

Can’t I have both?
