I dream of Africa. And stuff.

Unrelated and in no particular order:

I love living in a part of town where I can zip down the street and have Ethiopian for lunch. Give me a bowl of gomen wat and mesir wat with some injera and I’m good to go. It’s greens and field peas, more or less, and I could eat it for days.

Christmas shopping is done as of ... now. Packages are shipped off.

Amazingly, I’m completely on top of my grading. Participation grades are calculated. Everything that I could possibly grade has been graded. Editing quizzes are coming in at midnight tonight for my online class. My f2f presentations course finishes their final talks tomorrow and turns in their reflective letters, and then they’re done. They’ve also done some interesting web-based bonus presentations, which I’ll write about when all of them have been turned in.

I also want to write out some thoughts I have on process and leisure. That’s more of an end-of-semester reflection, though, which means that it may wait a week.

Johndan links to some good materials on intro to Information Architecture.

Music You (Possibly) Won’t Hear Anywhere Else is my one of my current favorite blogs, and if you haven’t been over there yet, you really should. Not only does Lee post the best in holiday oddities and wierdities, but his writing is also a pleasure.
