April Fool’s Day seems like a good day to seriously commence a dissertation, doesn’t it? It worked really well the last time I bought a car. Seriously.
(For those who wonder: no, I haven’t defended the proposal yet. But I’ve been told not to wait around in the meantime.)

Sadly, the little birdie is wrong. I got comments back from my chairs last night and have been asked if I can revise and get the next draft to the whole committee by Friday or early next week. The comments are encouraging, but also require me to re-think some things.
So I’m ever-closer, but it ain’t a done deal yet. You know me, though — I’ll blog it the second it is!
